I also learned about why gays are sinners too. i thought what makes them become gay is their brain structure. it is born this way, so they cant really get rid of it. at the same time, it is kinda unfair for a gay man to marry a woman. cuz i thought that if a man likes a man, then he likes a man, and will never fall in love with a woman. however, if you think of it this way. there's 3 stages before anybody identify themselves as gays. It started with simply admiring a person either guys or girls, as we all do. And then they put the feeling into practice. This is critical point. not all crush/feelings needs to be put into practice. And this is the point that people should self-control themselves, when they notice it is not heading to the right direction. This is not only for the homosexual people, but you and me as well. It's common to fail for someone that dont deserve you. and there's so many bad guys out there too!!! Third stage is when peple identify themselves as gays after practicing it. so..the latter 2 stages are really not necessary. some people argue that homosexual comes in genes too. well..but remember alcholic...drug addictive...also come in genes too. BUT JESUS CHRIST ALSO DIES FOR GAYS.He still give you the chance to repent from your sins too. homosexuality is just one of the sins, not any worse than murderers, thief, robbers blah blah ( that's we).
oh and...人的情欲是很难控制的。
one of the pastro talked a lot about helping the people in true poverty. He said that..it's not going to help China, if we just stand outside complaining and talking craps. We should just go there and help people out. God died for us. Jesus came going through sufferings and hardships when we are sinners. and we should do the same thing. This is Jesus' love. Very impressive.
oh...The Chinese Christian power is really great btw. This winter conference is basically for mandarin/ Cantonese /Chinese related speakers. These people mainly come from Midwest, but there's also people coming from boston, Texas, LA. I went with Evangeline and her sister and their cousins. They were constantly being recognized by other families that used to live in Ames but now move to somewhere else. It's like a family tree that spreads/ extends out. and i like the sense of community. the services are nice, some of the talks are oriented on Chinese issues that is able to solve some of my problems that Cornerstone wont be able to. I am not communicating here very well right now. but i think i might start to try out different churches. especially Chinese Churches.
here's a story, that's funny, sad, and sweet. There was a Chinese pastro in USA. He's really old and had been serving god for a very long time. There's one time druing a service, he turned back, and said:"GOD, i am so tired." and later that night. He passed away. Isnt it actually kinda sweet? God hears him crying and knows he's been working really hard for him. and now when he says he's tired, he just simply says:" you did good, just come home." <3
